The Board meets on the first and third Monday of each month. Meetings begin at 1:00 p.m. and are held in the department conference room at 65 Lafayette Ave, Littleton. Board meetings are open to the public and time is allotted for public comments at each meeting.

The regularly scheduled Board of Commissioners (BOC) meeting began at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 16, 2018 in the Littleton Water and Light (LWL) conference room. Present were Commissioner Perry Goodell, Commissioner Peter Cooper, Commissioner Ralph Ross, Financial Director Cheryl Wilkins, and Superintendent Thomas Considine.
MINUTES REVIEW:
The minutes of the April 2, 2018 regularly scheduled Commissioners meeting were reviewed. Commissioner Ross made a motion to accept the minutes as presented, seconded by Commissioner Goodell.
The vote was in favor of the motion 3-0-0.
FINANCIAL DIRECTORS REPORT:
Mrs. Wilkins reviewed the highlights of the financial statements for the month ended February 2018 with the Commissioners. Several variances as compared to budget were discussed and explained by Mrs. Wilkins.
Mr. Considine stated that the Management Discussion and Analysis portion of the year ended 2017 audited financial statement is being reviewed. This should complete the audit process and the final report should be ready soon.
SUPERINTENDENT/ GENERAL MANAGERS REPORT:
Dufresne Group Engineering plans to begin surveying the proposed water main route shortly now that the weather is breaking. Preliminary discussion between LWL and the Bethlehem road agent were recently held to introduce the proposed water main relocation project prior to the commencement of the planned route survey.
There are two (2) scheduled Town of Littleton project public informational meetings this week. The first meeting Monday and the second Wednesday evening to discuss the River District project and Mill Street sewer replacement project respectively. Mr. Considine stated that he plans to attend to address any concerns relative to LWL activities and involvement with these projects.
GENERAL/ OTHER BUSINESS:
The BOC reviewed and discussed an abatement request for excessive electricity consumption submitted by the property owners at 134 Bronson Street. Following some additional discussion the BOC agreed and denied the abatement request. LWL does not typically grant abatement on excess power consumption as power supplies are purchased by LWL.

Commissioner Ross.
The vote was in favor of the motion 3-0-0.
